If these are
found, it's always good to have a licensed
structural engineer to take elevation
measurements to determine if and how much of a
problem exists. Early detection is key.

Damaged sprinkler system components
Damaged shingles and loose fasteners that are
not sealed
Damaged HVAC plenum and ductwork
Unsecured high voltage wiring
Deteriorated plumbing stack weather boots
Broken glass in doors or windows
Leaking water heaters
Insect access through the weep holes
Moisture

Evidence of arcing or overheated wiring inside
the electrical panel
Sprinkler box and or meter box full of water.
Possible plumbing leak in that area
Evidence of carpenter ants or other wood
destroying insects.
